3 PhilHealth officials resign from post

Three officials of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) have resigned from their positions due to alleged corruption within the agency.

The strong disapproval of the officials on the mandatory payment contribution of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) was cited in their resignation letter addressed to PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales. They stated that the mandatory contribution being imposed due to the negligence of PhilHealth is conflict with their personal values.
