PNP: 5th SONA is peaceful and orderly

The 5th State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has been peaceful and orderly.

Philippine National Police (PNP) National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Police Major General Debold Sinas was elated over the compliance of militant groups to stage a protest within the premises of the University of the Philippines (UP) Campus.

Based on the data of the national police, over 1,700 individuals joined rallies nationwide. 34 individuals were arrested in Metro Manila on the day of the SONA due to violations of quarantine protocols. – Report from Bea Bernardo
