DepEd’s sample lectures air through DepEd TV

The Department of Education (DepEd)’s sample lectures for the test broadcast through DepEd TV have been aired over IBC 13 and other solar channels.

These are part of the distance learning method prepared by the department for students who would opt for television as their modality of learning starting August 24. The broadcast will cover lessons for kinder to senior high school taught by “teacher broadcasters” in front of the camera.

However, according to the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition, the department is not yet 100% ready for this kind of educational approach.

The DepEd is still ironing out several approaches in DepEd TV for students with special needs. – Report from Kenneth Paciente
