SWS: 45% of Filipinos use the internet

A survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (SWS) showed that around 45% of Filipinos use the internet.

The SWS survey was conducted on December 13 to 16, 2019 where it revealed that 98% of the 29.4 million adult internet users have Facebook accounts while 1 out of 4 Filipinos read the news in the said platform.

However, 69% of adults or an estimate of 45.8 million individuals are still watching the news through the television, 19% are listening through the radio while only 1% reads the newspaper. – PTV News
