The Quezon City government has released guidelines for the celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day amid the threat of COVID-19
The protocols impose all cemeteries and columbaries in the city to be closed from October 29 to November 4. Visitation will be allowed from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. before and after the said dates.
The guidelines stress the use of face masks and shields and quarantine passes. The two-meter distancing will be strictly implemented. Vendors inside the cemeteries will be prohibited.
The QC LGU said there should only be 1,500 visitors at a time at the Bagbag Cemetery and 500 at the Novaliches Cemetery. Baesa Cemetery “has been closed since the year 2012” and will still be fully closed – Report from Karen Villanda
