President Rodrigo R. Duterte has announced in his public address Monday night the different quarantine classifications for the various regions of the Philippines effective October 1 to October 31.
According to the approved recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), Lanao Del Sur including Marawi City will be placed under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.
The National Capital Region (NCR) will remain under General Community Quarantine along with the Province of Batangas and the cities of Tacloban, Bacolod, Iligan and Iloilo while the rest of the country is placed under Modified General Community Quarantine. – Report from Naomi Tiburcio
