Senate eyes possible creation of Bayanihan 3

The Senate has started to look into the possibility of creating a third Bayanihan Act for those who were affected by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance Senator Sonny Angara has stated the possible creation of the third Bayanihan Act as the House of Representatives plans to submit another stimulus package this year or on the first quarter of 2021.

Meanwhile, Senate Committee on Economic Affairs Chairperson Sen. Imee Marcos believes that Congress must take action on the said possibility if the 2 Bayanihan Acts are still inadequate. – PTV News
