Authorities seize P7.8M worth of illegal drugs


Authorities seized roughly Php 7.8 million worth of illegal drugs in separate anti-illegal drug operations in the country.

130 grams of shabu worth more than Php 7.6 million were intercepted from 3 suspects Monday night while another operation conducted in Caloocan City at 11:00 PM resulted to the confiscation of 25 grams of shabu worth Php 170,000 by authorities from 2 suspects.
Moreover, 2.2 grams of crystal meth worth almost PhP15,000 were confiscated from a drug pusher and a suspect under the drugs watchlist in Navotas City.

Majority of the nabbed individuals are not residents of the place where they were arrested. They will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – Report from Bernard Jaudian
