PRRD asks CPP to allow the vaccines to be transported ‘freely and safely’

President Rodrigo R. Duterte urged the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Monday to allow the vaccines to be transported “freely and safely” once the national vaccination program starts.

“I am appealing to the Communist Party of the Philippines. The Communist Party of the Philippines must guarantee that the vaccines in the course of being transported to areas where [there] are no city health officers or medical persons na huwag ninyong galawin ang medisina (that you must not interfere with the [transport of] medicine).”

President Duterte asked the CCP to cooperate because the vaccine is for the Filipino people.

“So natural lang na kayong mga (So naturally, you the) members ng Communist Party of the Philippines and the allied, NPA [New People’s Army], NDF [National Democratic Front] or whatever, kindly observe the rules of humanity,” he added. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
