LTO distributes 1.5 M motorcycle plate numbers under the ‘Doble Plaka’ Law

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) proudly announced that they have distributed 1.5 million large motorcycle plate numbers in accordance with the “Doble Plaka” Law amidst the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Currently, the agency still has 7.4 million plates to be produced for registered motorcycles aside from the 5 million unregistered motorcycles. It assured that it has procured additional equipment to hasten the implementation of the “Doble Plaka” Law and trusts that it will accomplish the targeted 18 million motorcycle plates by June 2022.
