PRRD: Inday Sara wants to focus on family over the presidency

President Rodrigo R. Duterte reiterated that his daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte does not want to run for presidency in the 2022 national elections.

Following the strengthened call of several groups for Inday Sara to follow the footsteps of her father, President Duterte disclosed that she is focused in prioritizing her family affairs.

“Ang sabi niya sa akin, marami pa naman panahon and she used my favorite statement. Ang sabi niya: Kung gusto ng Diyos maging presidente rin ako kagaya sa iyo, magiging presidente ako. Hindi kailangan ngayon (She told me that there’s still plenty of time and she used my favorite statement. She told me: If God wants me to be the president like you, then I will be president. It doesn’t need to be now).” Report from Mela Lesmoras
