DILG urges LGUs to intensify implementation of sanctions on health protocol violators

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) urged local government units (LGUs) to intensify the implementation of sanctions on violators of the minimum health standards.

According to DILG Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III, LGUs need to strengthen their execution of penalties especially when some areas in the country have eased their travel restrictions. They were ordered to create an ordinance that will penalize health standards violators. The DILG also reminded the public on the proper wearing of face mask and face shield to prevent the further spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). -PTV News
