Manila LGU gives ‘home service’ jabs for the bedridden

The City of Manila conducted on Saturday, April 17, the house-to-house inoculation of bedridden individuals on the COVID-19 priority list of vaccine beneficiaries.

According to Mayor Francisco “ Isko Moreno” Domagoso, he directed barangay officials to collect information about bedridden individuals aged 18 years old or older within their areas.

“Pupuntahan po mismo ng mga kawani ng Manila Health Department (MHD) ang mga kababayan nating bedridden na nais magpabakuna matapos silang bigyan ng permiso ng pamilya o doktor ng pasyente,” Domagoso said.

[Personnel of the Manila Health Department (MHD) will visit our bedridden residents who want to get vaccinated after they are granted permission by their families and doctors.]

Meanwhile, a total of 300,745 residents of Manila have already registered for the mass vaccination program of the city as of 1:30 p.m., Saturday.
