Philippines-Japan to conduct a joint conference on construction

The Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) through its human resource development arm, the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of the Government of Japan is organizing the 1st Philippines – Japan Conference on Construction on 23 November 2017 at Hotel Jen Manila, Pasay City from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The conference is a result of past meetings and consultations between CMDF and MLIT. It is an effort to bring together industry leaders to develop a more dynamic partnership between the construction sector of the Philippines and Japan. The conference will also include the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between DTI and MLIT as a part of the strategic cooperation of both countries to strengthen the construction with the end goal of improving the welfare of the people.
