Allowance ng volunteer health workers sa QC vaccination, kasado na

Makatatanggap na ng daily allowance ang mga volunteer healthcare frontline workers sa Quezon City COVID-19 vaccination sites.

Ito’y alinsunod sa nilagdaang ordinansa ng lungsod, upang maiwasang gamitin ng mga volunteers ang kanilang salapi para sa pagkain at transportasyon.

Ang mga sumusunod ang napagkasunduang daily allowance ng mga volunteers simula June 1:

  •     Doctors – P2,500
  •     Dentists and nurses – P1,400
  •     Post graduate interns – P1,300
  •     Other allied medical frontliners – P1,000
  •     Midwives – P800

“It is only right and just that we give them a daily allowance so they won’t be spending their personal funds for transportation and food, for example,” ani QC Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Samantala, inilatag na rin ng Quezon City ang guidelines para sa mga magsasagawa ng community pantry, medical mission, o kasalang bayan. 

Ipaalam dapat nila sa Department of Public Order and Safety ng lungsod nang hindi mas mahaba sa limang araw bago ang mismong event.

“Event organizers have the responsibility to provide appropriate crowd control measures to avoid excessive numbers of attendees and ensure proper physical distancing, such as through the use of marshals, stubs, coupons, and similar strategies,” ani Belmonte.

Ito aniya ay para hindi na maulit ang nangyari sa Brgy. Old Balara kung saan nagsipila ang nasa 6,000 katao sa ayuda ni Councilor Franz Pumaren.

Ayon sa kapitan ng barangay, may karagdagang limang lugar na sa barangay ang isinailalim sa lockdown, kasama ang 9 Ipil St., Ipil Interior, at ilang lugar sa Pook Dela Paz.

Ito’y bunsod ng pagtaas ng bilang ng mga tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa mga pumila sa pa-ayuda. Mahigit 70 katao na ang lumabas na positibo mula sa nasa 800 na isinailalim sa testing. Ulat ni Allan Francisco/AG-jlo
