BGC-Ortigas Link Bridge, bubuksan sa susunod na linggo

Bubuksan na ang BGC-Ortigas Link Bridge sa June 12 na inaasahang magpapaluwag ng 20% sa trapiko sa Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA).

Una nang madadaanan ang on and off ramp nito sa Kalayaan Avenue matapos ang konstrusksyon nito na sinimulan noong 2018 sa ilalim ng Build, Build, Build program ng kasalukuyang administrasyon.

“Pati yung approaches nasimentuhan na ‘yung portion ng Fairlane at Brixton. So all systems go tayo sa opening,” ani Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Mark Villar. 

Dito na maaaring dumaan ang mga magmumula sa Kalayaan o C-5 na nais magtungo sa Ortigas. Ang biyaheng Bonifacio Global City (BGC)-Ortigas ay magiging 12 minuto na lamang mula sa dating isang oras. 

Sa tala ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), pumalo sa 374,780 ang 24-hour count sa volume ng mga sasakyan sa EDSA nitong Mayo, mula sa 66,774 kada araw noong Marso 2020. – Ulat ni Karen Villanda/AG-rir
