3 suspek sa ‘bakuna for sale’ scheme, sinampahan na ng kaso

Patong-patong na kaso ang isinampa ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ng Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa tatlong indibidwal na hinihinalang sangkot sa ‘bakuna for sale’ scheme.

Ayon kay PNP Chief PGen. Guillermo Eleazar, isang fire volunteer at barangay volunteer ang umano’y tumulong sa nauna nang sumuko na suspek na si Cyle Cedric Bonifacio, 25, noong Mayo 26.

Kinilala noong Hunyo 7 ang dalawa pang suspek na sina Melvin Polo Gutierrez, 25, at Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera.

Nahaharap sila sa mga kasong estafa at paglabag sa Anti-Red Tape Law of 2007 at Anti-Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

Iniimbestigahan pa ng CIDG ang posibleng pananagutan ng ilang taong sinabi ni Bonifacio na tumulong sa kanya kabilang ang ilang opisyal ng barangay, kaya’t posible pang madagdagan ang mga kakasuhan. 

Samantala, umaasa naman si PNP Chief Eleazar na magsisilbing babala sa lahat ang paghahain ng kaso ng PNP laban sa mga sangkot sa nasabing scam.

“Magsilbing babala sana sa ibang magtatangkang dayain ang sistema ng ating national vaccination program ang ating pagsasampa ng kaso,” saad ni Eleazar. – Ulat ni Bea Bernardo / CF-rir
