MMC announces shortened curfew hours

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairperson Benhur Abalos announced on Monday (June 14) the implementation of the new curfew hours from 12:00 m.n. to 4:00 a.m. starting on June 15.

In a Laging Handa public briefing, MMDA Chairperson Abalos said that the Metro Manila mayors agreed to adjust the curfew hours from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., to 12:00 m.n. to 4:00 a.m.

The Metro Manila Council (MMC) is optimistic that the shortened curfew hours will help the businesses to recover and aid the country’s economy.

Meanwhile, the MMDA Chair assured that the local government units (LGUs) are prepared for the arrival of more COVID-19 vaccines.

Report from Patrick de Jesus/NG-rir
