The Quezon City (QC) Health Department inoculated 595 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Quezon City female dormitory in Camp Karingal on Thursday (July 29).

In a Facebook post, the QC local government unit (LGU) said the vaccination program for these female PDLs are part of the city’s No Woman Left Behind Program.

The program aims to improve the welfare of PDLs by providing them access to healthcare and education.

As of today (August 1), the QC LGU has administered a total of 1,450,785 vaccine doses, of which 895,450 were first doses and 555,335 were second doses.
