Some SSS inquiry services temporarily unavailable

The Social Security System (SSS) informs [the public] that several of its inquiry services through the Text-SSS facility via 2600 will be temporarily unavailable starting July 29, 2021.

Services such as verification of salary loan status and balance, and the status of applications on maternity and funeral benefit claims are likewise temporarily unavailable until further notice. However, [inquiry services] on their Payment Reference Number (PRN), contribution status, documentary requirements in filing benefit and loan applications, membership registration, member’s record, and locating the nearest SSS branch will remain available.

SSS is immediately expediting [the restoration of] the said inquiry services at the soonest possible date.

In the meantime, SSS urges its members to [use] the My.SSS Portal, which they can find on the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph), and [the] SSS Mobile App for the above-mentioned transactions.

Further, SSS reminds everyone to stay at home and use the online and mobile platforms [for] all SSS transactions. (SSS) – jlo
