DOH, nagtala ng 18-K bagong kaso ng COVID-19

Nakapagtala ang Department of Health (DOH) ngayong 4:00 n.h., Agosto 23, ng 18,332 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Mayroon namang naitalang 13,794 na gumaling at 151 na pumanaw.

Tinanggal ang 321 mula sa total case count. Sa mga ito, 316 ang gumaling. May 68 pang kaso na nai-tag na ‘gumaling’ ngunit nare-classify bilang pagkamatay pagkaraan ng final validation.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 7.0% (130,350) ang aktibong kaso, 91.3% (1,695,335) ang gumaling, at 1.72% (31,961) ang namatay.

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong Agosto 21, habang mayroong tatlong laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).

Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng tatlong labs na ito ay humigit-kumulang 0.2% sa lahat ng samples na nai-test, at 0.5% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.
