DILG allows granular lockdowns among LGUs

By Pearl Gumapos

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday (Aug. 26) said that in the future, instead of imposing provincial- or regional-level lockdowns, they will leave it to local government units to impose granular lockdowns while the national government will provide support.

Dito sa granular lockdowns, makakasigurado tayo na walang paggalaw ang mga tao or there will be less mobility,” he added.

The national government will be helping LGUs in the implementation of granular lockdowns and provide support.

– jlo
