De los Santos went up against participants from the United States and Switzerland. The online tournament was held from Aug. 27 to 31.

The 31-year-old from Cebu City finished with a score of 25, besting the scores of Moreno Domont Matias of Switzerland who got a score of 24.74 and Bustamante Alfredo of the United States who finished with a 24.4.

“I’m not far from surpassing my record last year. I just need to train harder and keep focus in order to achieve my goal for this year,” de los Santos said.

He is set to compete in a couple of more tournaments — the Okinawa E-Tournament World Series #6 on Sept. 5 and the SportData E-Tournament World Series on Sept. 9. – jlo
