Fair weather, isolated rains to prevail across PH

Fair weather with isolated rains will prevail across the country on Friday (Oct. 29), the weather bureau said.

“The northeast monsoon will cause isolated rains over most of Luzon and the Visayas,” Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, and southern Quezon.

The rest of Luzon will have fair weather with isolated rains, Aurelio said.

Tuguegarao and Laoag’s temperature will be up to 33 °C, while Metro Manila will have up to 31 °C.

“The rest of the Visayas will experience fair weather with isolated rains caused by the northeast monsoon, and the whole of Mindanao will have fair weather, with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms,” Aurelio said.

Gale warning is in effect over the seaboards of Batanes and the Babuyan Islands. Aurelio cautioned not to venture out to the sea.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over northern Luzon. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) – jlo
