Presidential aspirants continue with provincial activities

2022 elections presidential aspirants are currently visiting different places in the country to continue with provincial activities.

Vice President Leni Robredo visited Bacolod City where she signed a memorandum of agreement between her and Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Bong Lacson for medical assistance.

The agreement states that the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital and the Office of the Vice President will partner up in serving and assisting indigent patients.

Meanwhile, Senator Panfilo Lacson visited Cavite.

Lacson in his speech said he will be focusing on the country’s ballooning debt through judicious and non-wasteful allocations in the national budget.

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bong Bong” Marcos Jr.’s camp responded to those attacking his candidacy.

Marcos’ spokesperson Atty. Vic Rodriguez said that there was no tax evasion against the former senator, only a failure to file an income tax return.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno visited Cebu where he laid down his platforms for the area, one of which was to develop tourism and infrastructures.

The Mayor promised to continue the Duterte administration’s Build, Build, Build program.

Like the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway, Moreno will also prioritize the construction of many bridges and unite the islands in the Visayas.

Apart from bridges, he will also focus on the construction of MRT and LRT in Cebu. –Report from Daniel Manalastas/PG – bny
