MANILA – Fair weather with isolated rain showers will prevail across the archipelago on Monday (Nov. 22), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Visayas and Mindanao will also have fair weather, with isolated rains due to thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon or evening.

“Luzon will have fair weather, except for isolated light rains over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, and Cagayan due to the northeast monsoon,” weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said.

He added that the rest of Luzon will experience isolated rains due to thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will continue to prevail over northern Luzon.

Gale warning has been issued over the northern seaboards of northern Luzon (Batanes, Calayan, Babuyan, northern coast of Cagayan and northern coast of Ilocos Norte).

Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea, while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.

Aurelio, meanwhile, said there is no low-pressure area and weather disturbance inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. (PNA) – bny
