Vehicle volume down with number coding reimplementation

The volume of vehicles plying Metro Manila roads slightly declined with the reimplementation of the number coding scheme on Wednesday (Dec. 1), based on Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) initial assessment.

Neomie Recio said.

Recio said there was also an improvement along the Northbound lane.

The MMDA has also met with transport network vehicle service (TNVS) operators to discuss identification stickers which may be available in the next two to three weeks.

“Aaraw-arawin namin ang assessment namin na ito at ‘pag nakita naming hindi nag-i-improve, at patuloy na sumasama ang sitwasyon, that’s the time i-declare namin i-modify namin ang scheme na ito,” he said. – Report from Patrick de Jesus/AG-rir
