DOLE offering more than 15-K jobs to displaced workers and jobseekers

Over 15,000 jobs will be offered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at the hybrid job fairs to be held this December in some regions in the Philippines.

The limited face-to-face online job fairs will be held in Metro Manila starting Monday (Dec. 6). Job fairs in Region 5, Region 7, and Region 9 will open from Dec. 6 to 8.

Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III invited displaced workers and jobseekers to take advantage of the 15,569 local and overseas jobs in the ‘hybrid’ job fairs to be participated by 224 participating employers across the regions.

A total of 12,598 local jobs mostly for customer service representatives, production workers, sewers, sales associates, salesmen, office staff, helpers, and kitchen crew will be offered by 189 employers.

Meanwhile, a total of 2,971 overseas jobs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Kuwait, and Qatar will be offered by 35 recruitment agencies.
