Presidential aspirants hold caravan, distribute Christmas boxes

Presidential and vice presidential candidates supporters held a caravan event this weekend, distributing Christmas boxes this weekend to Manila residents in need.

Supporters of Presidential Aspirant Bongbong Marcos and Vice Presidential candidate Mayor Sara Duterte held a mega caravan in Metro Manila on Sunday (Dec. 12).

According to the organizer, the Marcos supporters came from Luneta, while the Duterte supporters came from Macapagal avenue and both groups met in Quezon City Circle.

The group followed health protocols and the caravan was a success thanks to police personnel, the organizer said.

Vice President Leni Robredo, on the other hand, thanked institutions that recognized some projects of her office.

This includes projects such as community learning hubs and free shuttle and ferry services for frontliners.

Meanwhile, presidential aspirant Sen. Panfilo Lacson visited Dumaguete.

This Sunday afternoon, his camp, along with vice presidential aspirant Sen. Vincente Sotto, launched an ‘online kamustahan’ event for those living in Northern Samar.

As for Isko Moreno’s group, they distributed Christmas boxes to families in Manila.

As posted on Moreno’s Facebook page, more than 500 barangays in Manila were given Christmas boxes.
