PRRD: Gamitin sa tama ang financial aid ng pamahalaan

Nagpaalala si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at mga residenteng sinalanta ng bagyong Odette na tiyaking magagamit sa tama o angkop na paraan ang mga tulong pinansiyal na ipaaabot ng pamahalaan.

Sa pagbisita ng Pangulo sa Siargao, sinabi niya na nakahap na ng pondo ang gobyerno para sa pangangailangan ng mga naapektuhan ng bagyo.

Aniya, una na rin niyang sinabihan ang gobernador sa lugar na tiyaking sa wasto magagamit ang mga pondong ito.

“Just wait for the money to arrive. Take care of it and spend it wisely. I’ve already told the governor. To those who don’t care, you may just use the money to gamble. And when you run out of money, you get hungry,” anang Pangulo.

Lalo at kinailangan aniyang bawasan ang budget ng ilang government projects, upang agad na makapagbigay ng tulong sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong Odette.

“I’ve found the budget for you. Last night, we were working hard because we were cutting the budget of some government projects just so that I could give you something immediately. This is for the people, not for infrastructures,” paliwanag niya.
