NCR back to Alert Level 3 from Jan. 3 to 15

The Philippine government on Friday evening (Dec. 31) announced placing the National Capital Region (NCR) under Alert Level 3 from Jan. 3 to 15, 2022.

In an announcement aired over PTV, Cabinet Secretary and Acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles said the reversion followed the increase in mobility and a decrease in health protocol compliance.

The epidemiological investigation on the three local cases indicates there is a high possibility of local transmission ng Omicron,” he added.
