MANILA – After the Lotto draws were suspended for three days due to the continuous spike in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections in the country, two bettors bagged the jackpot prizes in two separate draws on Friday, Jan. 14.

In an advisory on Saturday (Jan. 15), the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said a bettor guessed the winning combinations 53-10-19- 21- 42-47 during Friday night’s Ultra Lotto 6/58 with a total prize of P70,258,716.80.

The lucky ticket was purchased in San Fernando City, La Union.

Four bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive P120,000 each.

About 296 bettors got P2,000 each for getting four of the winning combinations right while 8,007 bettors won P100 each for guessing three right combinations.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Meanwhile, a bettor from Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija guessed the winning combination 24-31-20-17-13-18 during Friday night’s Mega Lotto 6/45 draw with a total prize of P20,212,102.

A total of 25 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive P32,000 each, while 1,264 bettors will get P1,000 each for four of six digits, and 19,262 bettors will settle for P30 each for three of six digits.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing the agency’s products as a large chunk of its revenues goes to charity programs.

The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character. (PNA) – bny
