3 weather systems affecting PH: PAGASA

MANILA — Three weather systems would bring rainshowers in most parts of the country Wednesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of northern and central Luzon, an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting southern Mindanao, and the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon, ARMM and Soccsksargen will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by a tail-end of a cold front.

The province of Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
