Coloring Book Hub: Education during times of pandemic

Amid rising numbers of COVID-19 cases and lives that were stolen by the current pandemic, a group of people wishing to help children in need by providing them education in the form of books has stepped up during these trying times.

The “Coloring Book Hub” project aims to help keep children indoors by giving them student-created coloring books which tackle various quarantine life reflections and stories.

The stories were created and illustrated by present and former students of the Supreme Student Government of Baras Pinugay Phase2 National High School (BPP2NHS).

The project was established under the collaboration among the school administration, teachers and alumni of BPP2NHS, and Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Pinugay. According to founder Christian Angelo Rafon, the project arose from the current pandemic.

The project began last April 23, 2021.

Having been handmade personally by its creators, the Coloring Book Hub contains true-to-life stories that have happened during the pandemic.

– PG – ag
