PH infection management, jab rollout rates up in action plan scorecard

The rate of infection management and vaccine rollout in the country went up, according to the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

The figures are based on the latest National Action Plan against COVID-19 (NAP) scorecard shared by NEDA Undersecretary Rosemarie Edillon in a briefing on Monday (Jan. 31).

From 2.53 in November 2021, the Philippines’ infection management score went up to 2.74. The country’s vaccine rollout score also increased to 2.20 from 2.02 in November 2021.

“Overall, we are improving. Even though we do not yet have the data on flight activities for December, we actually think that has also improved in December,” Edillon said.

“Therefore, we could say that we are heading in the right direction,” she added.

According to NEDA,” scorecard covers infection management, vaccine rollout, and socioeconomic recovery.” – With reports from Naomi Tiburcio/AG
