Patuloy na pagganda ng COVID-19 situation sa bansa, ‘di dapat ikakampante — WHO

Masasabing “worst is over” sa estado ng Pilipinas sa usapin ng COVID-19, pero ayon sa World Health Organization (WHO), ito ay sa ngayon.

Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing ngayong araw (Peb. 11), sinabi Acting WHO Representative to the Philippines Dr. Rajendra Yadav na very encouraging ang nakikitang pagbaba sa kaso ng COVID-19, habang stable na ring maituturing ang national health care utilization rate.

Ganunpaman, hindi pa maaaring sabihing pangmatagalan ang maayos na estado ng COVID-19 situation gayung wala namang nakababatid kung magiging tuloy-tuloy na ito.

Mensahe nga ni Dr. Yadav sa publiko, “hope for the best, prepare for the worst,” sabay panawagan na dapat pa ring ipagpatuloy ang pagsunod sa minimum health standards.

Kaugnay nito’y una nang ipinahayag ng OCTA Research na pwede nang ituring ang National Capital Region (NCR) na low risk dahil na rin sa bumubulusok na pababa ng kaso ng COVID-19 na dito ay inaasahang 1,000 kada araw ang mababawas sa mga naitatalang kaso sa katapusan ng Pebrero.
