Easterlies bring isolated rains, thunderstorms over PH

MANILA – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday, Feb.27.

In its weather bulletin, the PAGASA warned residents in affected areas against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

It also reported that moderate to strong winds heading northeast will blow over the eastern sections of Central Luzon and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Moderate to strong winds from northeast to east with moderate to rough coastal waters will blow over Northern Luzon.

Light to moderate winds in the northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters will be felt in other parts of the country.

The minimum temperature is 24.2 °C and the maximum temperature is 32.2 °C. (PNA) – bny
