By Myris Lee

Presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. maintained his top spot in the latest face-to-face Tugon ng Masa survey of OCTA Research Group conducted April 22 to 25 this year.

Based on the results, Marcos scored 58% preference votes in the presidential race poll, while her running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio got 56% preference votes in the vice presidential survey.

“And iyon nga, wala masyadong nagbago po – ang frontrunner pa rin natin ay si former Senator Bongbong Marcos at 58% of the vote and si Mayor Sara Duterte at 56% of the vote po. They come from the same tandem, so sa Uniteam po sila,” Prof. Ranjit Rye of OCTA said.

Vice President Leni Robredo took the second spot with 25%, followed by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno with 8%, Manny Pacquiao with 5%, Ping Lacson with 2%, Faisal Mangondato with 1%, and Norberto Gonzales and Leody De Guzman with 0.2% each.

Marcos got his highest preference votes in the Visayas at 62%, followed by Luzon at 59%, Mindanao at 56%, and in the National Capital Region at 46%. -Ag
