Vice presidential aspirant Doc Willie Ong, the running mate of presidential bet Mayor Isko Moreno, conceded defeat on Wednesday afternoon, May 11.

In a video posted on his social media page, Ong congratulated presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., and presumptive vice president Sara Duterte, wishing them success in their six-year term.

Ong also wished for peace and unity to continue for the country’s progress.

The popular physician said he will go back to conducting medical missions and continue helping Filipinos in need of medical help.

Ah tutulong tayo sa abot ng ating makakaya,” he said.

In a separate video blog, he mentioned that he grieved over losing the vice presidential race, but chose to move forward with his life instead. – ag
