Guanzon: Hindi pwedeng kontra lang nang kontra

By Gabriela Baron

Retired Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon defended her meeting with Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez, cousin of presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and shaking Sandro Marcos’ hand on Saturday, May 14.

Guanzon, who is part of the Pamilya, Pasyente, at Persons with Disabilities (P3PWD) Partylist, said the group needs to work with other lawmakers.

In a separate tweet, Guanzon reiterated that she only accepted “their polite gestures.”

Guanzon earlier revealed that she voted to disqualify Marcos Jr. from the 2022 presidential race. – ngs
