A total of 149 volcanic earthquakes in Mouth Bulusan were recorded in the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Friday morning, June 10.

The Phivolcs warned the public of another possible phreatic or steam-driven eruption.

Phivolcs also recorded outflow of volcanic sulfur dioxide, averaging 824 tons per day as of June 9. It also noted that the plume from the crater of the volcano surfaced to 100 meters tall then drifted northwest while its edifice was also inflated.
