A fellow from the OCTA Research on Tuesday, June 14, urged employers to implement work from home arrangements as COVID-19 cases rise anew.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, OCTA Research Fellow Dr. Guido David urged employers to implement a flexible work schedule or allow their employees to continue working from home.
“Baka pwedeng i-hold muna ‘yung pagbabalik ng mga tao sa work-from-home schedule,” David said.
“Baka pwedeng i-reconsider ito ng ibang offices para at least mabawasan din ‘yung capacity sa offices, siguro, mag-work-from-home sila,” he continued.
David also cited the rising fuel prices and high transportation fare.
“Makakatulong din ito sa mga kababayan natin dahil mataas ‘yung pamasahe, mataas ‘yung fuel prices, at ‘yung work from home will help them save money,” he said.
The Department of Health said on Monday, June 13, that placing Metro Manila under Alert Level 2 remains a possibility if COVID-19 cases continue to climb. – ag
