Vice President Sara Duterte opened six satellite offices of the Office of the Vice President on Saturday, July 2.

According to Duterte, part of her duty as the newly installed vice president is to launch OVP satellite offices to give Filipinos easy access to services and to be able to provide immediate response to the public from her office.

OVP satellite offices are located in the cities of Dagupan (Region 1), Cebu (Region VII), Tacloban (Region VIII), Zamboanga (Region IX), Davao (Region XI), and Tandag in Surigao del Sur (Region XIII).

Duterte will also head the Department of Education, succeeding Leonor Briones. – gb
