PBBM meets DOH officials, calls on Filipinos to get booster shots

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. on Monday, July 18, met with Department of Health officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire and other health officials.

Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said included in the agenda was the COVID-19 alert level system in the country.

Angeles said the current alert levels nationwide will remain in effect pending the issuance of the next classifications.

In his latest vlog, Marcos renewed his call to the public to get vaccinated and to receive their booster shots once they are eligible to get them as expanded face-to-face classes are set to resume soon.

Marcos also believes that vaccines work while citing his recent bout with COVID-19.

– Report from Mela Lesmoras-ag
