Fair, warm weather to prevail across PH Wednesday

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

The country will experience fair and warm weather due to a “monsoon break”, or a break in rainfall events, the weather bureau said on Wednesday, July 20.

The ridge of a high-pressure area will cause fair and warm weather, said Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

No new low-pressure area or weather disturbance was monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, he said.

PAGASA forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms to prevail over the entire archipelago.

Temperatures could reach 34°C in Tuguegarao; 33°C in Metro Manila, Zamboanga, and Davao; and 32°C in Tacloban and Cagayan de Oro.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will be experienced across the country, the bureau said. (PNA)
