The CAVITEX C5 link flyover extension opened to the public on Sunday, Aug. 14, its operator announced.
The 1.6-kilometer (km) segment of CAVITEX C5 link connects to the 2.2-km flyover, providing improved travel time for motorists bound to C5 Road in Taguig from Mervill, Paranaque/
Over 15,000 motorists are expected to benefit from the new segment of CAVITEX C5 link.
Meanwhile, with the opening of the CAVITEX C5 link flyover extension, a new traffic scheme will be implemented for motorists entering the expressway in Merville.
Vehicles from Paranaque going to Taguig will now pass into the new C5 link flyover Mervill entry located in front of Shell C5 Southlink in Brgy. Moonwalk, Paranaque.
“We urge everyone to utilize Easytrip RFID to avoid the long line at cash lane and maximize the benefit,” Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) President and General Manager, Raul L. Ignacio said.
The Toll Regulatory Board approved the following toll for the CAVITEX C5 link:
Class 1 vehicles: P37
Class 2: P74
Class 3: P112
“We encourage motorists to use the CAVITEX C5 Link flyover extension while it still
