Filipino actress Chai Fonacier stars in Hollywood film ‘Nocebo’

Filipino actress Chai Fonacier stars in the upcoming Hollywood thriller film “Nocebo” alongside Eva Green and Mark Strong.

Fonacier plays a Filipino caregiver who uses traditional folk medicine on Green’s character, a fashion designer suffering from a mysterious illness.

“Nocebo” is directed by Irish filmmaker Lorcan Finnegan and written by Garret Shanley.

The film is slated to premiere in the United States on Nov. 4.

Fonacier previously appeared in the films “Patay na si Hesus,” and “Born Beautiful.” She won the Best Supporting Actress award in the 35th Luna Awards. – GB
