By Jelly Musico | Philippine News Agency

The Intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and shear line will bring rains over Northern Luzon and Mindanao as well as part of Palawan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday, Nov. 6.

In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Bicol Region, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Samar provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to shear line.

Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Soccsksargen, and the southern portion of Palawan will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

It added that extreme Northern Luzon will experience strong winds heading northeast and rough seas.

The temperature ranges between 23.5 °C and 31.5 °C. – gb
