Gov’t integrates quarantine, immigration arrival requirements for PH-bound travelers

By Katrina Gracia Consebido

The Philippine government announced Thursday, Dec. 1, the launch of the online registration platform eTravel for travelers bound to the Philippines including returning Filipino residents.

In the joint advisory by government agencies, the Health Declaration Checklist of the Department of Health-Bureau of Quarantine (DOH-BOQ) will be accessed through etravel.gov.ph beginning Friday, Dec. 2, at 12:01 a.m.

Those accessing the former www.onehealthpass.com.ph will be directed to the new eTravel domain, as the older site will no longer be accessible beginning Dec. 5.

“The eTravel platform will host the electronic version of the paper Arrival Card that travelers must submit upon arrival in the Philippines for immigration clearance. Starting 05 December 2022, the Bureau of Immigration will discontinue using the paper Arrival Card,” the advisory read.

“All travelers will be required to provide their arrival information and health declaration through the eTravel portal,” it added.

The government warned the public against illegal sites and groups that ask and solicit fees of any kind as the registration on the eTravel platform is free. T

The eTravel platform is a joint initiative of the Department of Information and

Communications Technology in partnership with the DOH, BOQ, Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Customs, Department of Tourism, Department of Justice, and Department of Transportation. -ag
