DPWH finishes construction of new police station in Pangasinan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of the new Municipal Police Station (MPS) of Mangaldan town in Pangasinan.

DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel Tan said the three-story MPS Building was built under the DPWH and the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) Convergence Program.

“DPWH is one with the PNP in enhancing public service facilities that aims to boost the morale of our uniformed personnel who play an indispensable role in maintaining peace and order in Pangasinan,” Tan said.

The new police station has well-lit and ventilated offices, security cameras, and a parking space.

The project, worthP14.5 million, was funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act. -ag
